1140Nm ratchet overload clutch on PTO. Overload clutch for PTO power take-off shaft designed to protect machines from damage of active working units such as rotary harrows, soilers, flail mowers, spreaders, active weeders, shredders, etc. The clutch works on the principle of a ratchet mechanism held by springs. When a torque of about 1140 Nm is reached, the springs bend and the mechanism jumps, disconnecting the drive. A distinctive sound is heard when it engages.
