It is designed for manual electric welding of steel with self-cored wire (FCAW Flux-Cored Arc Welding method). The FCAW method is arc welding with flux-cored (powder) wire. It is a welding method similar to the MIG/MAG method, except that the wire is internally filled with flux or a chemical that produces protective gases during welding.
