Designed for both indoor and outdoor use. 3M VHB general-purpose, heat-resistant GPH Series tapes solve many of the problems associated with temperature resistance and bonding of many dissimilar materials. Once applied to a surface, it is nearly inseparable. Excellent properties at high temperatures (short exposures: up to +230° C, long exposures up to +150° C). Suitable for both interior and exterior use. High initial viscosity. Good ratio of high temperature resistance and resistance to shear and rupture forces. Soft foam distributes pressure and is easy to apply. Good sealing properties. Forms a permanent seal against water, moisture, etc. High dynamic stress absorption reduces vibration and impact load. Eliminates the need for drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding and cleaning. Allows the use of thinner, lighter and non-uniform materials.
