3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tape 5952 is a double-sided tape coated with PSA adhesive that bonds many substrates, including lower surface energy materials such as powder coatings and plastics. The fast and easy-to-make bonding method ensures high load-bearing capacity and durability even after a long time. Visually invisible joining is a smooth outer surface. It can replace mechanical joining methods (rivets, welding, screws) and liquid adhesives. The black tape, 0.045 inch (1.1 mil) thick, with a modified acrylic adhesive that is coated with a highly flexible acrylic core, bonds a wide variety of substrates, including those that are powder-coated or have irregular, uneven surfaces. Eliminates the need for drilling, grinding, reworking, bolting, welding and the associated need to keep the work area clean.
