The PurgEye 100 IP65 oxygen meter has been designed and improved as an auxiliary device for welding work. The PurgeEye 100 IP65 measures and shows the oxygen content in a space filled with argon or other shielding gas. If it is low enough then you can be sure that the weld will be of good quality. The PurgEye 100 IP65 version replaced the MKV model, which has been offered for many years and is very popular. The PurgEye 100 IP65 meter allows you to measure the percentage of oxygen up to the lower limit of 0.01%, or 100 ppm. It is assumed that the presence of oxygen below 0.1% in the environment of the weld being performed does not adversely affect the quality and purity of the weld (with the exception of some metals, e.g. titanium, zirconium). The instrument has a unique CAL auto-calibration button, which allows you to instantly calibrate the meter to the standard oxygen content in ambient air.
