CAST IRON COATED ELECTRODE APPROX 92.58 3.2 Electrode OK 92.58 (NiFe Cl-A) fi 2.5 x 300mm Electrode OK 92.58 (NiFe Cl-A) of iron-nickel alloy, designed for welding the most popular varieties of cast iron, such as gray cast iron, malleable cast iron and malleable cast iron. It is very suitable for the reconditioning and repair of parts made of these grades of cast iron, as well as for joining them with steel. The electrode is welded "cold" or by preheating the material slightly. The weld is more durable and more resistant to contamination than those obtained from nickel electrodes. Welding current intensity: AC, DC+ - OCV 50 V Classification: - SFA/AWS A5.15 - ENiFe-CI-A - EN ISO 1071 - E C NiFe-Cl-A 1 Typical chemical composition of pure alloy in %: - C - 1,5 - Si - 0.7 - Mn - 0.8 - Ni - 51 - Al - 1,4 - Fe - 46 - P - 0,006 - S - 0,003 Mechanical properties of the alloy: - Tensile strength [MPa]: 375 - Alloy hardness, after welding: 180 HB
