Welding wire 316 LSi Wed. 2.4 mm TIG austenitic filler metal with very low carbon content, for welding corrosion-resistant steels containing about 18% Cr , 12% Ni, 3% Mo and 18% Cr, 8% Ni . Recommended for exposure to general and intergranular corrosion in acid and chloride environments. Increased Si content improves welding properties. Used in chemical and food industry constructions and in cryogenic installations (up to -196 °C).
