Connection terminal for PLC island. It is found on all iNspire, eVision and eSmart machines manufactured by Eagle. It is installed in the machine's electrical cabinet and operator panel. It supports EtherCat buses and supplies power to PLC cards. The EtherCAT coupler is the link between the EtherCAT protocol at the bus level and the EtherCAT terminals. The coupler converts the transmitted telegrams from Ethernet 100BASE-TX into an E-bus signal representation. The station consists of the coupler and any number of EtherCAT terminals, which are automatically detected and individually displayed in the imaging process. If more current is required, integrate power terminals such as the EL9410. The field supply is passed to the individual I/O components via power contacts up to 10 A. In an EtherCAT network, the EK1100 can be installed anywhere in the Ethernet (100BASE-TX) signal transmission section - except directly at the switch. EK9000 and EK1000 couplers are suitable for use at the switch.
