MAGNUM MIG 145 NO-GAS

MAGNUM MIG 145 NO-GAS is a semi-automatic welding machine powered from a single-phase 230 V mains with a maximum welding current of 120 A. It is designed for manual electric welding of steel with self-cored wire (FCAW Flux-Cored Arc Welding method). The FCAW method is arc welding with flux-cored (powder) wire. It is a welding method similar to the MIG/MAG method, except that the wire is internally filled with flux or a chemical that produces protective gases during welding. FCAW welding combines the advantages of both covered electrode welding and MAG welding. The current source is built on IGBT transistors that ensure minimum electromagnetic interference, low power loss in the basic circuits, allowing increased efficiency and reliability of the current source, lower power consumption and instantaneous current adjustment to changing parameters during welding.
