The sharpener allows precise and efficient sharpening of the end of the tungsten electrode according to technological requirements. Electrodes sharpened with the SPARTUS sharpener show, among other things, a longer service life and allow easier welding arc ignition. The sharpener allows sharpening of electrodes in the diameter range from 1.6 - 4.8 mm at an angle of 10° to 60°. Built-in depth gauge, allows you to select the correct depth of sharpening and ensures repeatability of the process. The ability to adjust the offset of the electrode relative to the surface of the grinding disc, significantly extends the life of the disc - which translates directly into lower operating costs.
