Description The GRAND intelligent microprocessor chargers are designed for charging and starting all types of lead-acid batteries (WET/MF/CA/EFB/GEL/AGM). The charging function is 10-stage, fully automatic.The duty cycle (starting/cooling) in the starting function is automatic, which protects the device from overheating and damage. The chargers allow you to select the type of battery, select the battery mode (charging/starting/regeneration) and alternator test function. They have protection against: sparking, reverse polarity, short circuit, overheating and overcharging.STAGE 1: DIAGNOSTIC: analysis of the battery, its state of charge and the correctness of the connections between the battery and the charger.STAGE 2: DE-SULPHURIZING: recognizing a sulfated battery, charging with a pulsating current of low voltage and high current.STAGE 3: SMART START: if the battery is not damaged, charging with a relatively low current (about 15%) is started, gradually increasing its value.STAGE 4: PRIMARY CHARGING: charging with a maximum current of constant amperage with a value automatically adjusted depending on the state of charge of the battery, until 80% of the battery capacity is reached.STAGE 5: ANALYSIS: checking whether the battery accepts the charging current- prevents charging a damaged battery.STAGE 6: FIXED VOLTAGE CHARGING: charge with a constant voltage current and compensate for the false reading of full charge resulting from charging the battery with a high current.STAGE 7: RECOVERY: charge with a higher charge and compensate for the side effect of reduced charging current.STAGE 8: ADSORCTION: charging with small pulses of constant current until the maximum battery voltage is reached.STAGE 9: TEST: checking whether the battery stores voltage.STAGE 10: MAINTENANCE: monitoring the battery voltage and maintaining an optimal charge of 95-100% of capacity by pulses of charging current when a decrease in the specified value is recognized..
