Artesol metalworking oil is produced based on highly refined mineral oil, ionic and non-ionic emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors and other refining substances. Emulgol ARTESOL oil does not contain: nitrites, chlorine, heavy metals and phenols. Artesol is a concentrated machining oil for the preparation of emulsions for metal cutting and metal forming. It does not cause the formation of nitrosamines. It is made on the basis of highly refined mineral oils. It does not contain chlorine compounds, secondary amines, boron compounds or sodium nitrite. Application Emulsol ARTESOL oil in the form of an aqueous cooling and lubricating emulsion is used in machining of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals and their alloys. The recommended working concentrations of emulsion based on Emulgol ARTESOL (prepared on water of general hardness up to 15°N ) depending on the type of machining and the material being machined: - grinding 3÷5%, - turning, milling, drilling, reaming 5÷10%, - threading - 10÷15%. ARTEsol is a concentrate of cooling and lubricating fluids intended for a number of machining processes (sheet rolling, drawing, other forming processes and machining) and a wide range of metals (cast iron, steels including hard-to-cut steels, as well as non-ferrous metals). The concentration for a given application is selected by trial. As a rule, a concentration below 3.5% is not recommended. As a rule, a concentration of 4÷5% is used for most types of machining. Increasing the concentration of the emulsion increases the smoothness of the machined surface and the effectiveness of corrosion protection, and can reduce friction in metal forming and increase the life of machining tools. Emulsions with concentrations of 2% and above are used in the stamping process (a concentration of 2% is sufficient for stamping sheet metal, for example). Emulsions are made by pouring the concentrate in a thin stream into cool or lukewarm water with a general hardness of up to 20°n while stirring continuously (as a rule, it is sufficient to pour the concentrate in a thin stream while circulating the water in the machine; preferably at the inlet of the circulation pump). Do not make concentrated solutions of the concentrate - with a concentration of more than 20%. It is possible to make emulsions with injectors. Control the concentration with a refractometer. The refractive index is about 1.05. Properties Emulsions based on ARTEsol are stable, do not precipitate precipitates or thickened phase, even after a long period of use. In many cases (if a stable emulsion concentration is maintained and if the circulation system is equipped with filters preventing the accumulation of contaminants in the emulsion) a period of use of more than one year without replacement is possible. ARTEsol SUPER EP is a concentrated machining oil for the preparation of emulsions for rolling, other forming processes and for machining metals. It does not cause the formation of nitrosmear. It is made on the basis of highly refined mineral oils. It does not contain chlorine compounds, secondary amines, boron compounds or sodium nitrite. Benefits of using the oil: benefits the smoothness of the machined surface protects tools from wear removes chips reduces friction resistance Parameters Concentrate Color and appearance Brown, liquid Density at 20°C 1,0 g/cm3 MINERAL OIL CONTENT 35% KINEMATIC LIQUIDITY AT 40°C 105 mm2/s 2,5% emulsion in water with a hardness of 15oN Color clear to white EXTERNAL DISTANCE homogeneous liquid, iridescent microemulsion PH 9.3 CORROSION PROTECTION CAPACITY F0 Foaming TENDENCY none.
