STILER BX 52R disc chipper with integrated hydraulics

The latest model of the STILER BX52R disc chipper, equipped with a hydraulic feeding system, is used for shredding branches, tree trunks with a diameter of up to 12cm, while with offshoots up to 25cm. The chipper is equipped with a number of improvements to improve safety and efficiency of work according to the latest EU directives. It has a new generation hydraulic system with its own pump and oil tank, protections and guards. The new version of the chipper has been additionally equipped with its own hydraulic pump and a tank for hydraulic oil supplying two rollers feeding the material to the knife disc. The drive from the tractor to the chipper is transmitted by means of a transmission shaft The material intake mechanism has a smooth 10-stage intake speed regulator, a material withdrawal function and an emergency stop. The STILER BX52R chipper is equipped with a massive cutting disc with a diameter of 63 cm and a thickness of 2 cm, the disc weighs 65 kg. This makes it unlike drum chippers, roller chippers - disc chippers do not put much load on the engine, as the cutting resistance is overcome by the rotational force of the cutting disc. The massive cutting disc of the chipper is equipped with 4 double-sided sharpened knives + one counter-knife mounted in the base of the chipper. Additionally, the chipper disc is equipped with breakers (shovels) that shred the obtained chips to the value of 20-50 mm. The chipper also has a locking bolt on the disc for easy replacement of the blades. The chipped wood is ejected through a pipe that is rotated 360° with respect to the base of the chipper.
