The planing machine is designed for processing wood or wood-based materials by the method of compensatory planing. The thicknesser is designed for planing a layer of wood on one side of a workpiece in order to achieve a certain thickness and a suitable surface roughness. The combination of two machines in one using the same cutting head saves money and space required for two machines. Changing the function of the machine is very easy. Simply remove the pressure release bumper and install the planer tables. The planer table is made of cast iron, guaranteeing optimum glide of the workpiece. The tables are perfectly flat, and the pressure release bumper can be set at an angle of 45-90 degrees, as well as raised, lowered, tilted and adjusted along the table. The machine is equipped with two feeding rollers, bounce protection and a thickness scale.
