PONTIG 202 AC/DC MOST is an inverter welding rectifier for argon shielded TIG (arc ignition by HF ionizer) or MMA (Stick) covered electrode welding. The device has excellent welding properties and a wide range of applications. The low weight makes the Pontig 202 AC/DC MOST an excellent solution for field work. Primary application is light and medium duty welding in: Welding of aluminum structures, vehicles, advertisements, etc., Food industry and stainless steel installations, Chemical industry and pipelines, Crafts and production of light objects made of steel , stainless steel, Yacht building (rigging), etc., Repair and reconditioning. The control panel is easy to use and equipped with a display showing the various functions of the welding process. The Pontig 202 AC/DC MOST welds in the TIG method with direct or pulsating current with a frequency of up to 200Hz. In TIG AC welding, frequency and balance control are available to achieve maximum efficient welding of aluminum while maintaining weld quality. In the MMA method, HotStart and ArcForce functions are available, the Pontig 202 AC/DC MOST has all the additional functions needed for professional TIG welding (pre and post gas flow, current build-up, crater filling, etc.).
