PONTE 402 MOST - inverter rectifier for welding with covered electrode and TIG DC method (arc ignition by rubbing the end of the tungsten electrode).PONTE 402 rectifier is a professional welding device for welding with practically all types of electrodes (including cellulose lagging) and to a limited extent for welding with TIG DC method or electrowinning. In order to increase the welder's safety when working in electrocution-prone areas, the device uses the VRD function, which lowers the idle voltage to about 9 volts. A HotStart current value can be set to facilitate arc ignition when welding with MMA electrodes. When welding pipes, the ArcForce function is also useful, so that the current does not need to be adjusted when the welding position changes. The device can work with an optional remote adjustment attachment. The control panel is easy to read and welder-friendly. PONTE 402 meets the requirements of the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EU (current source efficiency 89%, idle power consumption 27 W).
