The 3M Cubitron II 969F lamella disc is a high-performance, long-life disc for demanding applications and aggressive grinding. The abrasive laths contain precisely shaped Cubitron II ceramic grain, which guarantees ultra-fast grinding and a very long disc life. The rigid Y-weight polyester backing requires strong pressure during grinding operations. Versatile disc designed for stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals for applications such as weld removal, edge chamfering, grinding, finishing, weld cleaning, tarnish cleaning and surface preparation. 3M's precision-formed grain maintains sharp edges that cut extremely fast even at lower pressure. Designed to work without overheating, with reduced potential for discoloration/oxidation and heat-induced cracking. A cooling additive on the disc lowers grinding temperatures for heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys.
