The 3M Cubitron II 967A lamellar disk contains precision-formed ceramic grain for ultra-fast grinding and extra-long disk life, resulting in lower labor costs. The versatile disc is designed for stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals for applications such as weld removal, edge beveling, grinding, finishing, light cleaning, weld cleaning, grading and tarnish cleaning and surface preparation. 3M's precision-shaped grain keeps the tips sharp, which cut extremely fast with less pressure. Designed to work without overheating, with reduced potential for discoloration/oxidation and heat-induced cracking. Lamellae combine sanding and troweling into one process. Durable Y-weight cotton-polymer backing ensures controlled and even wear throughout the disk in medium to high pressure applications. A cooling additive on the disk lowers grinding temperatures for heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys.
