Excellent for high-pressure machining of stainless and carbon steels. Waterproof backing made of rigid polyester Y. Up to twice the life of comparable aluminum oxide belts and better heat resistance. Coolant reduces heat when grinding heat-sensitive alloys. Can be used wet or dry. Applications: metalworking - equipment overhaul, medical tools, metal implants, primers, sanitary equipment, turbine engines.
