Argweld flexible pads are used for correct ridge construction in place of, for example, ceramic pads. They consist of a fiberglass tape glued on a self-adhesive aluminum tape. The molten metal is deposited directly on the fiber without unwanted slag. They are mainly used in TIG welding of tanks. Advantages of flexible washers: Suitable for sheet metal, pipes and tanks.
