. Description. SUBJECT OF THE INSTRUCTIONS . The manual applies to single-stage cylinder regulators for technical gases taken from cylinders such as : oxygen, acetylene, nitrogen .... Reducers meet the requirements of PN-EN ISO 2503 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION . Reducers are designed to reduce the inlet pressure of gases taken from the cylinder to the required outlet pressure í to maintain it at a constant level, regardless of changes in cylinder pressure ( within tolerance ) These are single-stage countercurrent reducers , and their characteristic feature is the vertical position of the setting knob. The regulators are equipped with a metal sinter filter, which is part of the reducing valve. It is attached to cylinder valves with a nut or with a yoke in the case of acetylene. Inlet pressure p1 and outlet pressure p2 are indicated by pressure gauges. Outflow of gas from the regulator is through a hose-end spigot. It is permissible to use an additional shut-off valve mounted to the outlet stub. Inside the body there is a reducing valve assembly and a classic rubber diaphragm. Inside the cover there is a setting spring and a safety valve that is inaccessible to the operator. The pressure gauges indicate the type of gas for which the regulator is designed and the maximum allowable pressures expressed in bar. A feature that allows full identification of the regulator is stamped on the body .
