ANTYAMPER CLASS 2 AC 17kV electrical insulating half-shoes. ANTYAMPER Class 2 electro-insulating half-boots are made of natural rubber with increased electro-insulating resistance enriched with anti-aging additive. ANTYAMPER Class 2 electrical insulating half-boots can be used for work at equipment with voltage up to 17kV AC. Electrical insulating properties In order to ensure electro-insulating properties to reduce the risk of electric shock, the footwear was made in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN 50321-1:2018. Each new shoe is subjected by the manufacturer to an inspection - an electrical voltage test using a test voltage of 20 kV. As a result of a positive result of the inspection, there is marking with a serial number and date of production (month year). Footwear is marked with the symbol of a double triangle (symbol of electro-insulating properties) with the designation of Class 2 (control-electrical test voltage test voltage of 20 kV, use under conditions of up to 17 kV alternating voltage (AC). Electro-insulating footwear is used as an additional means of protection and must not be used as the sole means of protection in electric shock hazard situations. In electrocution hazard conditions, other basic protective equipment resulting from the risk assessment should be used in addition. Periodic examination Electro-insulating properties of footwear should be confirmed by conducting inspections - periodic tests. Tests of electro-insulating half-shoes should be carried out in a period no longer than: 12 months from the date of the previous test. This testing should be carried out by a suitable testing laboratory at intervals of not more than 12 months. The interval between periodic inspections should be adapted to the intensity and conditions of use of footwear on the basis of the risk assessment carried out. Also, if it is suspected that the conditions of use, inadequate cleaning or storage may have been the cause of the loss of electro-insulating properties of footwear, they should be inspected - periodic test before being returned to use. A positive result of the periodic inspection should be confirmed by issuing an appropriate certificate and noting the deadline for the next periodic inspection on the footwear. Footwear has a space provided for recording the dates of periodic inspections and the date of entry into service, printed on the outside of the upper. The 20kV ANTIAMPER CLASS 2 AC 17kV electrical insulating half-boots have a 24-month manufacturer's warranty against latent defects.
