After drying, it is recommended to wipe the rod with a special cloth soaked in a silicone preparation, designed for the regeneration of insulating elements of equipment for live work. CHECK AND PERIODIC INSPECTION Carry out periodic inspection of the equipment component in accordance with the instructions for use. Periodic inspection includes visual inspection and electrical strength testing. Visual inspection includes checking: - absence of visible damage to the surface of the rod - absence of visible damage to the surface of escape hooks - legibility and completeness of markings - timeliness of periodic examinations - stability of the limiter mounting Electrical tests are considered positive if: - no spark-over occurred and no traces of discharge were found Damaged, heavily worn or dirty equipment must not be used for rescue operations.
