The eVa cutting head provides automatic centering and laser beam control without the use of moving elements within the head, which eliminates the problem of contamination of these elements and significantly extends the lifetime of the optics and the head itself. The entire head contains only three optical elements: two lenses and one protective glass protecting the lenses from contamination during the cutting process. The minimum amount of optics increases the reliability of the head, minimizes Focus Shift and guarantees low service costs. The protective glass is placed 355 mm above the processed material. The distance of the glass from the cutting process is the most important parameter determining the frequency of replacing the protective glass. The greater the distance, the less often the glass will be replaced. In the eVa head, this distance is the largest among all heads available on the market. Implemented auto-focus function of the eVa cutting head makes it possible to change the focal length between cutting and burning quickly. It eliminates the need to manually adjust the focal distance based on the material type and thickness. This feature saves setup time and eliminates potential mistakes. The head has a patented anti-collision protection that automatically turns off the drives in the event of a collision, reducing the likelihood of head damage. Thanks to the protection, 90% of failures resulting from collisions can be avoided. The automatic centering system and anti-collision system increase the efficiency and safety of machine operation while reducing the costs of possible damage caused by collision.
