This method is based on the retraction of the electrode during arc ignition. The big advantage of this solution is less wear and tear of operating components and minimization of electromagnetic interference, compared to HF ignition. This has a major impact on the protection of electrical equipment such as controllers, stepper motors, etc. An additional advantage is the lower failure rate of the device, by eliminating the HF module.
