Welding current: DC Application: - low- and high-alloy steels; - titanium alloys; - nickel alloys; - copper alloys. It works very well in cooperation with inverter welders. It is not suitable for TIG AC welding of aluminum. In this case, choose a green tungsten electrode. It has good ignition and re-ignition properties. Warning: Possible health risk with improper handling. Thorium is dangerous to the welder when thorium oxide enters his respiratory tract. This can happen accidentally during welding ( when harmful fumes are produced ), and, above all, when sharpening the tip of the electrode ( when grinding dust appears).
