Charging Process9-stage charging process ensures that optimal battery charging conditions are achieved. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 9 charging stages to properly charge the battery:ETAP 1 - DIAGNOSTIC (Diagnostic) - analyzes the battery and checks if it can accept the charging current; prevents charging a damaged battery.ETAP 2 - RECOVERY CHARGE - low-voltage batteries are pre-charged with a low current but with increased voltage; very discharged batteries can be restored to a usable state and this ensures longer battery life, the step is skipped if the battery is minimally discharged and in good condition.ETAP 3 - SOFT START - the charger gradually increases the charging current until the set charging current is reached.ETAP 4 - PULSE CHARGE (PULSE CHARGE) - the battery is charged with a pulse current (pulse fluctuations take place in the DC current range).ETAP 5 - RECONDITIONING - preparatory stage for charging in the bulk charge stage.ETAP 6 - BULK CHARGE - charging with a constant current up to a pre-set voltage (14.4÷14.7V).ETAP 7 - ABSORPTION CHARGE - when the required battery charge is reached, the change to constant voltage (CV) charging will occur and the charging process will end.ETAP 8 - EVALUATION DIAGNOSTIC - automatically monitors the battery voltage after charging is completed.ETAP 9 - MAINTENANCE CHARGE - a stage that sustains the battery (float) and monitors its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary. . .
