GCE-COLEX PROPAN 337-2 50-100mm cutting nozzle GCE/AGA Two-piece block nozzles of the P 337 COOLEX type for manual cutting with non-injector torches in a propane-fueled version for the Diament 500 and Verona torch. They come in COOLEX-cooled versions and are dedicated to scrap cutting due to their large cutting ranges. In traditional nozzles, the hot gas rising from above the flame during heating travels up the cutting oxygen channel, causing the nozzle to heat up to more than 500 °C. Splinters of molten metal stick to such a heated nozzle much more easily, clogging the gas outlets, which leads to worsening of cutting conditions, danger of flashback and destruction of the nozzle. The COOLEX system prevents this. During heating, some of the preheating oxygen enters the cutting oxygen channel, cooling it from the inside. This increases the life of the nozzle by five times and significantly reduces the number of interruptions for cleaning the gas outlets. In Coolex nozzles, its ignition time is significantly reduced.
